FOUNDING PILOT

Your information.
Used for your journey.

This overview describes the current pilot’s data practices. A final legal privacy policy and dedicated privacy contact are required before broad public onboarding.

What Safar collects

If you create an account, Safar uses your email, name and selected role to provide your workspace. If you explicitly submit an interest form, it stores the contact and trip-planning details you choose to provide. Sending a package inquiry shares the details you consent to provide with that package’s partner agency.

Inside a private group

Your group may include itinerary entries, announcements and preparation checklists. Your own task completion is visible to you and permitted group managers, with aggregate preparation progress available for group coordination. Completion is self-reported, not official eligibility verification.

Visibility and boundaries

Safar uses account-based and role-specific database access rules for private records. Public marketplace pages show published packages from verified agencies. Do not upload passport scans, payment-card details or sensitive travel documents into preparation tasks or interest forms.

Booking and payments

Partner agencies handle Umrah bookings, payment and travel service obligations directly. Safar does not collect travel payments and is not connected to your Nusuk account. Hajj registration and payment use applicable official or authorized channels.

Questions and next steps

You may use the private Safar Support form to raise a privacy question from your account. A dedicated verified privacy and support contact, finalized retention and deletion procedures, and formal policy review remain required for a wider launch. Do not use Safar for sensitive traveler documents during the founding pilot.
